Austinite David Wilson and Brazilian-born New Yorker Leo Moretti met in a micro brewery in Rio de Janeiro brazil in 2016. Their instant chemistry brewed the band Kid le Chat. After relocating to brooklyn in 2017 and enlisting Mike Sui-Poi on bass the quartet continues to explore an electro-analog 1980's new-wave/synth-pop sound and play shows in the NY area at venues such as, Union Pool, Alphaville, The bowery electric and The Mercury Lounge. December 2017 the band played the Rock the Mountain festival in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. The band is currently working on a 4 song Ep with Abe Seiferth at Transmitter Park studios in Green Point and has more NY shows scheduled for the beginning of September.
